On Saturday, March 11 at 12:04 p.m., Orange police responded to Webster Bank, 247 Boston Post Road, regarding a fraudulent check complaint.
During the investigation, officers spoke with Marcal J. Gholston, 36, of Hamden, who reportedly tried to cash a fraudulent check in the amount of $2,132.
Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with second-degree forgery and third-degree larceny.
Gholston was held on a $1,000 bond and received a court date of March 13.
