Senior Male Assaulted During Violent Carjacking

Orange police patchOn Friday, August 5, at around 5:51 a.m., a violent carjacking occurred at the Valero fuel station located at 347 Boston Post Road, Orange.
According to police, two males threatened the 70-year-old victim with a gun as he approached his car after exiting the store. When he didn’t give up the keys right away, one suspect punched and the other suspect pistol-whipped the victim, leaving him on the ground before stealing his car.
The vehicle is a red 2016 Nissan Altima bearing CT Reg BA02114 and has still not been recovered. A third suspect remained in the white vehicle which was stolen out of Norwalk last night and recovered this morning in Guilford.
