Dozens of die-hard Spartans fans came out to the Lou Astorino Ice Rink in Hamden Thursday night, (Jan. 9) to cheer on the Amity Boys Ice Hockey team in a match up with the always challenging Cheshire Rams.
Amity played a great game, but had a hard time getting into the net.
Spartans goalie John Kennedy #30, played skillfully, keeping the Ram’s score down.
Amity’s Kevin Gu #5, scored the Spartan’s solitary goal with Eli Gregory #15, getting the assist.
Cheshire won this one 3-1.
The Spartans will play North Haven at the Northward Rink on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 8 p.m.
