The Orange Congregational Church will host its annual Strawberry Festival on the Orange Fairgrounds, 525 Orange Center Road, Saturday, June 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as a fundraiser for the church.
Admission is always free.
Stop by the fairgrounds in Orange to grab a hotdog or hamburger along with your strawberry shortcake, or piece of the best pie you’ve ever tasted, and enjoy live music and fun activities for kids. Then browse the booths of many local vendors who will be showcasing their wares. And enjoy the ever popular Red Car show!
Arrive hungry, because there will be a huge variety of food to tempt you. Choose from hotdogs, hamburgers, pulled pork, sausage and peppers, grilled cheese, fries, and other staples of summer.
Of course, the stars of the festival are all of the fresh strawberry delights including strawberry shortcake, ice cream with strawberries, a strawberry slushie, homemade strawberry jam, chocolate-covered strawberries, hand-picked strawberries, and my favorite, strawberry or strawberry rhubarb pie. [Hint: come to the pie booth early so you don’t miss out on one of these freshly baked masterpieces.]
