Orange Live has been an entity in Orange CT Since May 17, 2012.
Back then, we made a promise to keep our posts dedicated to the town of Orange, straying across town lines ONLY when something BIG happened that somehow would impact Orange residents.
Amity High School sports and events are included because Orange teens attend Amity Regional.
The Beardsley Zoo is included because it is a valuable resource for local families and less than a 30 minute drive. Connecticut’s Zoo is celebrating its 100th birthday this year and has countless opportunities for scouts and teens and school children.
Although I (Editor Terri Miles) have always cherished the unique look of this site because it stood out and didn’t conform with the cookie cutter appearance of every other local news website. But, seriously, it’s time for a little bit of an update. I’m old, but my site doesn’t have to reflect that, right?
So, there may be a little more tweaking, but once it’s set in stone, welcome to the NEW Orange CT Live as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.
