The CDC released its latest guidelines regarding easing indoor and outdoor mask-wearing guidance for fully vaccinated people. The new recommendation for Fully Vaccinated people, ( those who’ve had BOTH the first and second shot of Pfizer or Moderna and One dose of Johnson and Johnson and two weeks have passed since getting that last shot) may stop wearing masks inside in most places.
NOT EVERYWHERE
However, you must still wear masks in crowded indoor settings, such as hospitals, homeless shelters, prisons, buses, and planes. More details to come regarding schools and workplaces.
OUTDOORS
Fully Vaccinated people no longer have to wear masks in crowded outdoor places.
SHOW RESPECT
If a shop owner has a sign on the door stating that a mask is required, show them respect and wear a mask. You can remove it when you leave. There is no reason to pitch a fit because someone asks you to wear a mask inside their place of business — there are plenty of UNVACCINATED people out there still so, these business owners are just trying to keep their customers and perhaps themselves safe.
We are slowly moving on from this horrible virus that took the lives of more than half a million Americans, Stick with the plan, follow the guidelines and we will get past it. Get Your Shot!
