With this beautiful spring-like weather we’ve been enjoying, it’s almost hard to believe that the National Weather Service has issued a Severe Weather Alert.
A wind advisory is in effect from 8 p.m. tonight until 6 a.m. on Saturday.*
Northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected.*
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs may be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Be aware of these possibilities and secure any loose items that you don’t want to break or disappear with the wind.
Don’t forget to change your clocks this weekend for Daylight Savings Time.
*The time frame and wind intensity forecast changed since the initial report, ending at 6 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. and gusts up to 50 mph instead of 45 mph.
