Brutal Attack Leaves Pet Goat Dead In Orange

This is the victim of the attack, the other photo is just for illustration.

Everyone seems to delight in the sight of the cute, happy, peaceful goats that live in the fenced-in yard on Chestnut Ridge.

Sadly, Orange police were called to the home at 9:20 a.m. on Sunday, July 17 on a report that one goat was dead and three aggressive pitbull dogs were inside the enclosure.

According to the brief Orange PD report, the dogs had no IDs and it was assumed that they were to blame for the death of the  goat.

Milford Animal Control, which serves the town of Orange responded to the scene and took possession of the three dogs, but they were unable to provide any further information on the incident.

If anyone has knowledge of three rogue Pitts or their owners, call the Milford Animal Control at 203-783-3279.
