Burglary In Progress Complaint Leads To Arrest

Orange police patchOrange police responded to Abbey Court regarding a burglary in progress at 11:39 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4.

Officers observed a shattered glass basement door. 

During the investigation, officers were able to locate Cameron D. Eccles, 42, of Shelton, in the rear of the residence.  He was ultimately taken into custody and charged with second-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree breach of peace and refusing to be fingerprinted. 

Eccles was held on a $75,000 bond and received a court date of October 5.
