Orange police responded to a shoplifting complaint at ShopRite, 259 Bull Hill Lane, on Monday, Sept. 26 at 1:40 p.m.
Investigation revealed that Dawn Fitts, 57, of New Haven, took $110 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Fitts was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 6.
