In September, Orange resident Sue Yamaguchi of the Blanket Fairy Mission presented the Board of Selectmen with a stunning handmade quilt to commemorate the Bicentennial which will hang in Town Hall for all to see for years to come.
In addition, she also donated a smaller replica of the Town Hall Bicentennial Quilt, also beautifully handmade with love and care.
The smaller quilt will be raffled off to one lucky ticket holder with the winner will be revealed at the Holiday Festival in December.
All proceeds from the ticket sales will benefit the Town of Orange Fuel Bank.
Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, and are available at the Orange First Selectman’s Office, where this gorgeous piece is on display.
Thank you, Sue Yamaguchi for sharing your incredible talent and for your generous donation.
Good Luck everyone!
