Clear your calendar for Saturday, October 24 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., that’s when the Orange Community Women will host their popular “Clothing and Household Goods Collection” at the High Plains Community Center Pavilion, 525 Orange Center Road.
Prior to the holiday season, and a houseful of visitors, Autumn is a great time to get rid of any unwanted or unneeded items that someone else may desperately need.
What to donate:
Soft items, including clothing, shoes, accessories, stuffed animals, pocketbooks, sheets, blankets, curtains, towels and other household textiles should be bagged in kitchen-size garbage bags.
Hard items, including toys, dishes, small appliances, sporting goods, household décor, LPs, DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes and knick-knacks should be boxed. Please box books separately.
