This week, I’ve gotten e-mails and noticed that Orange residents and those in surrounding communities have been posting on social media that China Pavilion at Hitchcock Plaza, 185 Boston Post Road, is open for business again. So, if you’ve been craving Chinese food, pay attention.
On its website, owner Khanh Van Ton wrote the following letter.
“As we move to reopen, a concern on all of our minds is the safety of our staff and patrons. I’ve implemented a cleaning schedule to sanitize all touch surfaces several times a day throughout our workday. We’ll be operating a no contact pickup station at the main entrance, once you place your order, you’ll be instructed on our process for pickup. We can process a card over the phone (preferred) or cash in person.
“This is new to us, this is the “new normal.” We are faced with the challenge of changing how we operate and interact with our customers. Unfortunately, that means no more hugs and handshakes (for now). While we have a plan in place, we ask for your patience as we work out any kinks in the first few days.
“Our team is really excited to be back and look forward to serving you. Thank you for your continued support and patience.”
