On Saturday, a COVID-19 vaccination clinic will take place at the carnival and anyone who gets a shot will receive a ticket for a free ride.
An Orange family (longtime OVFD supporters) have pledged to give vaccine recipients for whom a ride ticket is not enough incentive, (in lieu of a ride ticket), a free ticket for the big raffle and a chance to win $10,000 or one ot the other prizes.
The Department of Public Health and Griffin Health will sponsor the Free Vaccination Clinic at the Orange Fairgrounds on Saturday, Aug. 7 from noon to 5 p.m.
No appointment is necessary and walk-ins are welcome. Look for the vaccination vehicle.
