Girls Hockey: Blades Defeat Hamden In Overtime

The Amity/Cheshire/North Haven Blades Girls Ice Hockey team took on Hamden in Hamden on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

There was plenty of competitive action but the scoreboard showed no joy for either team.

The second period was a different story. Hamden’s Lexy Patel scored the first goal at 13:23, assisted by Maddie Krauss, and Giada Broccoli.

The Blades fired shot after shot but couldn’t get one past Hamden’s goalie Kyra Sweeney.
