Lapsit Storytime with Musical Folk
Tuesday, December 10, 10:30 a.m.
For babies and toddlers up to two years old.  Little ones and caregivers will play with shaker eggs, use movement scarves, and learn simple songs from around the world with Christina Montanari.  Then, stick around for playtime after class! Registration is not required and all materials will be provided.

Hygge Holiday Party for Teens

Tuesday, December 10, 3:30 p.m.
For teens in grades 7-12. Get in the hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”) mindset with this peaceful holiday party for teens. Create a needle felted ornament to hang on your tree or in your locker and enjoy customized hot cocoa at our hot cocoa bar. Space is limited. Registration is required.

Chess Club
Wednesday, December 11, 3:45 p.m.
For children and tweens in grades 1-6.  Come join our chess club! This club is open to beginners and experienced players. During our meetings, children and tweens will be able to learn about this strategic board game and play against other club members. Feel free to bring your own chess board as the library has a small supply.

Hot Chocolate Slime
Monday, December 16, 3:45 p.m.
For children in grades 1-3.  Enjoy the delicious scent of hot chocolate with this winter-themed sensory slime.  Please note: this slime is not meant to be eaten.  Children’s skin may come into contact with the following ingredients: white glue, baking soda, contact lens solution, brown food coloring and/or unsweetened cocoa powder, and dried marshmallows.  Registration is required.

Tween Cookie Decorating Class
Wednesday, December 18, 3:45 p.m.
For children ages 9-12.  Frost, sprinkle, and decorate cookies with ShopRite’s Registered Dietician, Courtney Huggins. Registration is required.
