Amity High School, as you know has many fine athletes, but unfortunately, since the start of the Pandemic, they have been robbed of the opportunity to shine.
But, thanks to the availability of testing and revelations on ways to help prevent the spread of the virus on the court or ice, or pool, or track, winter sports athletes are preparing to play.
The official season begins on Monday, Feb. 8, but, the boys and girls varsity basketball teams will play this week in the Black & Gold Scrimmage games at Amity High School this Thursday, Feb. 4.
The girls play at 4 p.m. and the boys are scheduled to play at 6 p.m.
