Miracles DO Happen! Guess Who's Home!

The one story this week that piqued the most community interest, was that of a missing 13-year-oldĀ cat.
Harley, the tiger cat went missing from his home on Margaret Lane on Tuesday and his pet parents reached out for help in finding him after searching everywhere with no results.
After hitting the Orange Live website, Facebook and Twitter pages, Harley’s tale was viewed thousands of times and shared by hundreds on various Facebook feeds.
Harley’s family visited the home of a woman who took in a stray tiger cat to see if it was their beloved buddy, but, alas, it wasn’t.
Fast forward to Saturday afternoon.
At around 12 p.m., we received a message from Harley’s family stating that they had contacts all week that helped keep hope alive. Then right out of the blue, Harley showed up on his family’s porch. They said he was “Filthy dirty, skinny and scared but otherwise fine and his lovely self.”
Thank you to the residents in the town of Orange, once again, for your compassion and interest in reuniting a missing pet with his family. Your interactions with the family were helpful and somehow this 13-year-old cat survived the chilly weather and hungry predators and is home in time for Easter.
We all love happy endings. Welcome home Harley!
