The Case Memorial Library, 176 Tyler City Road, offers the following activities for adults, tweens, and children this month.
Virtual Author Talk: A Broken Tree
Monday, March 22, 7 p.m.
Stephen Anderson used DNA testing and interviews to learn the real story behind his paternity and that of his three brothers and five sisters. His book A Broken Tree tells what the DNA revealed and how they handled it. Join us for a Zoom talk with Stephen Anderson! Please note that registration is required, as for online security reasons only registered attendees will be able to attend this event. Registered attendees will receive a Zoom link via email before the event.
Tween Take and Make: Emoji Stress Balls
Wednesday, March 24
For tweens in grades 4-6. Make your own emoji stress ball using balloons and water beads! Please note that this kit includes latex balloons as well as water beads, which can be harmful if swallowed and should be kept away from small children and pets. Participants will need to supply an empty plastic water bottle. Pickups will take place from Wednesday, March 24 through Saturday, March 27. Registration is required.
Take and Make: Homemade Hovercrafts
Wednesday, March 24
For children in grades 1-3. Build a levitating, traveling hovercraft with the magic of Newton’s Third Law!  Adult supervision is required.  Please be advised that this activity requires the use of balloons made from latex rubber.  Registration is required.  Kit pickups will take place Wednesday, March 24-Saturday, March 27.
