Joseph S. Moncheski, 68, of Ansonia, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Joe was the son of the late Henry and Jean Moncheski and the brother of the late Henry Moncheski, Jr.
Joe has been the proud owner and operator of Grassy Hill Farm in Orange since the early 1970’s carrying on three generations of family farming that began in 1910. Besides his love of farming Joe also cherished his job as a local school bus driver for more than 30 years which allowed him to witness multiple generations grow and blossom. Joe has overcome many obstacles in life with hard work and determination, a great sense of humor, and help from family and friends.
Joe leaves behind his partner Margaret Ryan. His son Joseph A. Moncheski (Monica), Ryan Linsley (Lisa) Anthony Linsley (Kristina), and three grandchildren Madelyn, Otis, and Theodore Linsley.
Join us to celebrate Joe’s life on Monday, August 14 at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street, Derby from 4 to 7 p.m. with his funeral service at 6:30 p.m.
