William J. Neidig, 97, of Orange, beloved husband of the late Marian P. Shaw, passed away on April 10, 2018.
He was born on March 30, 1921 in Jonestown, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Joseph Neidig and Carrie Ney.
As a young boy he received commendations for perfect attendance from Kindergarten through 12th grade. His work ethic continued throughout his life contributing to his long and successful business career as Vice President of Asplundh Tree Expert Company. He successfully expanded the Asplundh market share throughout New England and the US. He and his wife were avid Boston Red Sox fans and upon his retirement visited every baseball stadium in America.
William is survived by his daughter, Marcia (Barry) Zarb; grandchildren, Parker and Jordan White; son-in-law, Phil White. William was predeceased by his daughter, Carol L. White.
