The Orange Police Department is once again participating in the NHTSA-sponsored Distracted Driving High Visibility Enforcement campaign to keep our roadways safe.
According to NHTSA, at any given time in America, 660,000 drivers are using or manipulating electronic devices while driving- a number that has held steady for the last decade.
Distracted Driving has become one of the leading causes of traffic crashes during that same period. Put the phone away as we will be out in full force starting Tuesday, April 1.
