On Tuesday, Aug. 8, at 11:03 a.m. officers performing an area check of 440 Boston Post Road observed a male running from the loss prevention team in the Home Depot parking lot.
The male, later known as Michael T. Greenspun, 35, of New Haven, was apprehended.
The investigation revealed that Greenspun stole $447 worth of merchandise. He was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
He posted a $500 bond and received a court date of Sept. 3.
