Orange police were dispatched to Home Depot, 440 Boston Post Road on a complaint of a shoplifting in progress on Thursday, May 5 at 10:49 a.m.
According to the report, investigation revealed that Jonathan Rodriguez-Collazo, 26, of New Haven took $168 worth of merchandise without paying for it.
Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Rodriguez-Collazo received a promise to appear in court on May 20.
