On Wednesday, April 21, Orange Police were called to Target, 25 Boston Post Road on a shoplifting complaint at 10:11 p.m.
According to the report, the investigation revealed that Brendan P. Maloney, 33, of Milford, took $296 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny ad second-degree criminal trespass.
Maloney was released on a promise to appear in court on May 11.
