On Tuesday, Sept. 3, Orange police responded to a shoplifting complaint at Target, 25 Boston Post Road at 3:11 p.m.
During the investigation, officers spoke to George M. Vlahos, 54, of Hamden, who was accused of stealing $101 worth of merchandise. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Vlahos was released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 17.
