On Wednesday, July 23, at 8:23 p.m., Orange police responded to 96 Boston Post Road (Dollar Tree) on a suspicious person complaint.
Upon arrival, officers came into contact with Eduardo J. Rodriguez, Jr., 30, of New York City. During the investigation It was discovered that he attempted to purchase gift cards with five fake one-hundred-dollar bills.
Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with sixth-degree larceny and first-degree forgery.
According to the report, Rodriguez was held on a $10,000 bond and received a court date of July 24.
