Orange Police: Man Charged With 2020 Home Invasion

Great police work and persistence paid off on Nov. 8, when Orange Police were able to close a home invasion case in 2020.

According to the report Jonathan Ortiz, 36, of Milwaukee, was taken into custody by officers in Wisconsin. Orange Police officers brought Ortiz back to Connecticut on an active arrest warrant stemming from an incident that occurred on
June 27, 2020 on Ferry Road.

At Orange Police Headquarters on Nov. 8 at 2:39 a.m., Ortiz was charged with first-dgree burglary, home invasion, fifth-degree larceny, third-degree robbery, and third-degree assault.

He was held on a $75,000 bond and received a court date of Nov. 8 (later that day).
