On Thursday, Feb. 26 at 2:05 a.m. patrol officers observed a running motor vehicle parked behind a closed business on the Boston Post Road with an individual slumped behind the wheel.
Police spoke with Oscar V. Quinonez-Chacon, 48, of West Haven, and asked him to perform Standardized Sobriety Field Tests. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Quinonez-Chacon posted a $500 bond and received a court date of March 11.
