Orange Police: Man Charged With First-Degree Robbery, Assault Of An Elderly Person

At 11:30 am. on Tuesday, Jan. 10, Orange police officers met with Victor Rodriguez, 25, of New Haven at the Derby Court where he was being held at court on an unrelated matter, when it was discovered that he held an active arrest warrant with the Town of Orange. 

According to the report, the warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred at Valero’s Gas Station on August 6, 2022. 

Rodriguez was arraigned at court and charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault of an elderly person, second-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery. 

Rodriguez was held on a $300,000 court set bond.
