Officers responded to ShopRite at 259 Bull Hill Lane, on a report of suspicious activity on Friday, July 12 at 11:06 a.m.
Upon arrival, Hector M. Diaz, 47, of Hamden, fled the scene to avoid the officers’ investigation. He was later located, taken into custody, and charged with interference/resisting arrest.
Diaz was released on a promise to appear in court on July 26.
