Orange Police: Man Stole Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Jewelry, Attempted To Flee

police patchOn Wednesday, May 17, Officers responded to 435 Boston Post Road (Michael’s Jewelers) regarding a shoplifting that had just occurred.

According to the report, the investigation revealed that Ramon Rodriguez Jr., 46, of Bridgeport, took $13,310 worth of merchandise from the store without paying for it.

He then tried to flee from Officers on the scene but was ultimately taken into custody and charged with second-degree larceny and interfering/resisting arrest

Rodriguez posted a $25,000 bond and received a court date of May 31.
