On Sunday, Dec. 21 at 3:38 a.m. Orange patrol officers observed a motor vehicle stationery in the middle of the road on Bull Hill Lane.
Upon investigation, officers observed the driver, Misael N. Mercado, 23, of West Haven, slumped over the steering wheel, and asked him to perform standardized field sobriety tests.
Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
According to the report, Mercado posted a $500 bond and received a court date of January 5.
