On Sunday, August 5, at 11:49 p.m. Orange police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Route 34, where one vehicle struck another from behind.
During the investigation, officers had one of the drivers, Danielle Rogers, 34, of Ansonia, perform standardized roadside sobriety tests.
She was subsequently taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, following too closely, and driving with a suspended license.
Rogers was released after posting $100 bond and given a court date of Aug. 20.
