The Orange Police Department had a very busy month in June 2018.
Here are the statistics:
During the month of June, Orange Police responded to 3,145 Calls for Service
Two Commercial Burglaries were reported.
On Thursday, June 7, someone forced open a door at Natura Nails, 477 Boston Post Road and took a small amount of loose change. (Hardly worth the risk of getting a criminal record)
On Thursday, June 14, someone attempted to break into the Exotic Birds shop at 501 Boston Post Road, but did not gain entry.
Among the calls were: 136 Medical Emergencies, 32 Shoplifting/Larcenies, 22 Fights/Disturbances, 118 Activated Burglar Alarms, and 0 Robberies.
The traffic division reported 173 Motor Vehicle Citations Issued, 95 Traffic Accidents, and 11 Arrest for DWI.
Officers made 33 Criminal Arrests.
