On Tuesday, Feb. 6, Orange police arrested two men charging them with violating protective orders in separate incidents.
At 4:07 p.m. police responded to the area of Racebrook Road, on Derby Avenue, on a report of a disabled motor vehicle. Officers spoke to the driver, Luis O. Segovia-Cabrera, 36, of West Haven and during the investigation they discovered that he was with a person with which he had an active protective order.
Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with violation of the protective order.
Segovia-Cabrera posted a $10,000 bond and received a court date of Feb. 7.
Two hours later, at 6:16 p.m. officers responded to the Middletown Police Department to pick up Seth L. Augustine, 18, of Middletown.
According to the report, Augustine held an active arrest warrant with the town of Orange stemming from an incident that
occurred on Feb. 4. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged with violation of the protective order.
Augustine was held on a $50,000 bond and received a court date of Feb. 7.
