Orange police responded to 250 Bull Hill Lane (Kohls) regarding a shoplifting on Tuesday, May 9 at 6 p.m.
During the investigation, officers came into contact with Ushash Gade, 21, of New Haven and, according to the report, it was discovered that she had stolen merchandise and exited the store.
Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged with fifth-degree larceny.
Gade was released on a promise to appear in court on May 23.
