On Friday, April 7 at 6:47 p.m. Orange police responded to Kohl’s, 250 Bull Hill Lane regarding a suspicious person in the store.
During the investigation, officers came into contact with Zhane Flynn, 27, of Derby. It was discovered that she was trying to make a fraudulent return on stolen merchandise.
Flynn resisted arrest and tried to flee the scene in a motor vehicle. She consequently injured officers before she was ultimately taken into custody and charged with third-degree assault, assault on personnel, interference/resisting arrest, reckless driving, and sixth-degree larceny
Flynn was held on a $50,000 bond and received a court date of April 10.
