Orange police responded to Brentwood Road for a dispute on Tuesday, June 25 at 8:47 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with Elizabeth M. Alessie, 55, of Orange. During the investigation, it was discovered that Alessie was involved in a dispute that turned physical when she struck another person.
She was charged with third-degree assault.
Alessie was released on a promise to appear in court on June 26.
