The Orange Board of Selectmen will host its regular monthly meeting along with a public hearing regarding a Massage Establishment Permit on Wednesday, Aug. 11.
The meeting will take place at the Orange Town Hall beginning at 7 p.m.

New Business

  1. To consider and act on the request from Simple Recycling to end the 3-year contract and to resume an agreement with Goodwill as a recycle vendor at the transfer station.
  2. To consider and act on holding a public hearing during the Board of Selectmen Meeting scheduled for September 8, 2021 at 7 p.m. to be held in the Town Hall lower meeting room, 617 Orange Center Road, on the adoption of a resolution establishing an ordinance prohibiting cannabis products on all property owned by or under the control of the Town of Orange and the smoking of cannabis products in the outdoor sections of restaurants within the town.
  3. To consider and act on the request to waive medical benefits for 24 town employees.
  4. To consider and act on a proposal to install a fence at Fred Wolfe Park  — (Soccer Assn.)
  5. To consider and act on the approval of a town donation towards the Labor Day Fireworks.
  6. To consider and act on the request to hold a block party on Ridgeview Road.
