During the Orange campaign season, the town’s agreement with the Race Brook Country Club became quite the hotbed issue, even though residents, not lawmakers, voted to approve it.
A special meeting of the Board of Selectmen will take place at Town Hall on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m.
The board will immediately go into Executive Session during which They will have a discussion regarding the confidential indenture of lease from the Town of Orange to the Race Brook Country Club Incorporated for the premises located at 246 Derby Ave, Race Brook Road, 715 Race Brook Road and 716 Race Brook Road.
The Board will then close the executive session and vote on the lease.
