Shelter-In-Place At Amity High School

The Amity Superintendent sent this update regarding the situation at the High School following threatening e-mails received this morning.
“Amity Regional High School is currently in a Shelter-in-Place status. This means the exterior of the school building is locked down and no one can enter the building. Students will only be dismissed to a parent/guardian who must present ID at the front security. Students will move within the building between classes and lunch. Local police are on site and continuing the investigation. At this time, students should not be exiting the building on their own. Thank you for your cooperation and support while we continue the investigation.”
