The St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church Ladies Philoptochos Society will host a flower sale “Mum’s the Word,” in the upper parking lot of the church, 480 Racebrook Road, Orange, on Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Gorgeous mums in 8-inch flower pots are $6 each; 3 for $16; and 5 for $25. If you prefer larger plants, 12-inch flower pots are $16 each.
Boxed Koulourakia (Greek Cookies) also will be available for $10. The society is taking orders now, get your requests in early by calling Penny at 203-258-7934.
