A winter storm warning remains in effect until 7 a.m. Monday, March 4.According to the National Weather Service, we can expect moderate to heavy wet snow along with some sleet and freezing rain. Additional snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are expected with a glaze of ice in southern Connecticut.
Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions will impact those traveling tonight and during the Monday morning commute.
The heaviest snowfall is expected mid to late this evening into the overnight hours.
