The Orange Chamber of Commerce and the Orange Economic Development Corporation are partnering to transform the Town of Orange into a destination for tourists, shoppers, and the general public during the summer of 2019. We are asking you to join us and other town businesses to help lead the charge.

Life-size painted acrylic Oxen will be placed along the Boston Post Road and select major streets in Orange. We are now in the planning stage, identifying businesses who want to purchase and place a painted Ox in front of their company.

The cost of the Ox is $2,000. The order will be placed November 1, 2018, for delivery by April 15, 2019. The Oxen will be primed and ready for businesses to design and paint using local artists or company personnel. Stampede 2019 begins the end of June and runs through September.

Sign up for this public art display today, bring visitors to our community, create a climate for growth, and have a lasting economic impact! Lead The Stampede in 2019!

Expo_CallOutFor the past 3 years, I have participated in the Orange Business and Community Expo (Last year as Orange Live). It’s a great place to meet local business owners to meet the public.

Spaces are filling up quickly, so if you haven’t registered yet, why not do it today?

Here is the latest press release from the Orange Economic Development Corporation:

The Orange Economic Development Corporation will host the 12th Annual Orange Business and Community Expo on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  For the second year, the Expo will be held at the High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road, Orange.  Paul Grimmer, Executive Director stated, “Last year we received many positive comments regarding the new venue.  We had a significant increase in public attendance.  The public access and central location definitely helped to spur increased visitations to this one-day event.”

Exhibitor space is limited to 56 booths. Seventy eight percent of booth space is sold out at this time.  Exhibitor Booths are reasonably priced at $300–all exhibitors will be provided with an 8 foot booth space with pipe and drape, linen topped table, and 1 chair.

Exhibitors will have their business information listed in the Expo Program Book, marketing materials placed in Welcome Bags, company name listed in OrangeLife Magazine (sign-up by May 10th), and activities.
