News agencies that cover sports often only concentrate on High School Varsity Sports teams. Most likely because it would take up too much room in a print publication to give every age level equal coverage.
In our case, space is not an issue, but finding the time to get out and cover all the games is just impossible.
Recently, it was brought to our attention that one of the Freshman teams finished its season undefeated.
So, it is our pleasure to introduce you to the Amity Girls Freshman Lacrosse team. They had an 11-0 record in their first year at Amity.
They will definitely be a great asset to the sports program in the coming years.
