VOTE As If Your Life Depends Upon It

Today, according to a recent nationwide study is the most stressful day for 50 percent of the country’s citizens.

There are the people who say they cannot live one more day under Donald Trump’s dictatorship. And then, there are others who say Trump has done so much for the country that he is the only choice in this election.

Both sides came out in droves across Connecticut and the country today.

In Orange, so far, the hours between 6-8 a.m. were the busiest at High Plains Community Center with long lines, a few social distancing issues, and dozens of questions that needed to be addressed quickly to keep the lines moving. But the election day volunteers and Orange Police officers did it, they were polite, and understanding of everyone both inside the building and out in the cold, keeping everyone as safe as possible and handling the job they had pledged to do, regardless of a person’s political affiliation or early morning temperament. Every person who came to vote was given that opportunity without prejudice. (Let’s hope that it was this way throughout the country.)

It could take a long time, days, even weeks before we know the outcome of this election. The number we see at 8 pm  tonight will NOT be the final result. so, hang on. We’ll see what happens.
