What Were The Police Looking For On Tuesday Afternoon?

Orange Police Department

If you noticed a lot of police activity in your neighborhood this afternoon, here’s why.

Around noon, Orange police were actively assisting Milford Police and CT State Police on a possible shooting investigation that started in Bridgeport and continued to a residence on Claudia Drive in Milford near the Orange Town Line where a vehicle was abandoned.

Town officers told residents “if you something suspicious near the South Peck Lane area, please give us a call.”

By 2 p.m., Orange cut off its participation after being informed that it was believed that the suspect(s) had left the area.
