A ceremony took place at the Jan. 12 Amity Board of Education meeting, during which two Amity Middle School Orange eighth grade students were awarded the 2026 Connecticut Association of Public Schools Superintendent (CAPSS) Awards.
Quinn Smith and Elizabeth Scates are this year’s recipients
The award is based on community service, academic achievement, and leadership.
