Boys' Hockey: Csejka Leads Spartans To Victory Over East Haven

The Amity Boys Hockey Team was on the Road in East Haven on Saturday for a matchup against the East Haven/Old Lyme/Old Saybrook/East Hampton co-op.
On Wednesday, the Spartans played their first overtime game and kept up the momentum until the very end. They didn’t know they would have another OT game so soon.
First Period
Jason Csejka, whose proven his value time and time again throughout the season put Amity on the scoreboard at 13:56, assisted by Jordan Conn, and Jamie Blum. Yeah! Score 1-0 Amity
Second Period
At 9:12, Joe Consiglio tied the game at 1 on an assist from Zach Paquin. Scored 1-1.
Third Period
Both goalies did their jobs and kept anyone from scoring in the third. And the game went into overtime.
Overtime
The Spartans came out with a do-or-die attitude and fought hard in overtime. And it was Csejka who broke the tie, assisted by Colin Hughes and Jacob Silliman at 6:47. Amity Wins 2-1
